1. Cookies

The HOSTENO public website application code currently sets no analytics, marketing or profiling cookies. We therefore do not display a cookie banner or request consent for analytics cookies used by this website.

The hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical security mechanisms required to deliver and protect the service. We do not use those mechanisms for marketing or advertising profiling.

2. Session storage and UTM data

If you arrive through a link containing UTM parameters, the website temporarily stores them in browser sessionStorage under the first-party key mv_utm. sessionStorage is not a cookie, is available only to this website and normally ends when the browser session is closed.

We use UTM data to associate the visit source with a first-party analytics event or an enquiry that you submit. We do not use it for advertising profiling.

3. First-party analytics

When a page loads and for selected interactions, the website sends the event name, actual page path and any UTM data to its own server endpoint at /api/event. The website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or another external advertising or analytics script.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our own website. Details about the data, retention period and right to object are set out in the Privacy Notice.

4. Browser controls and contact

You can clear sessionStorage by closing the session or through your browser tools. Blocking it may prevent the website from retaining visit-source information but does not prevent the basic website from displaying.

5. Effective date

This notice is effective from 26 August 2026. If the website starts using other cookies or external analytics or marketing tools, we will update this page and any required consent mechanism before they are deployed.
