1. Data controller

2. Scope of this notice

This notice applies only to the public HOSTENO marketing website and its enquiry form and calculator. It does not cover HOSTENO Operations or the Guest Portal, which are separate services.

3. Data we process

When you submit an enquiry, we process your name, work email, property or company, optional phone number, selected unit range, calculator inputs and result, call-to-action type, source page, language and any UTM parameters.

For first-party operational measurement, we store the event name, visited page path, any UTM parameters and limited technical event data. For security, abuse prevention and rate limiting, we derive a one-way SHA-256 hash from the IP address; the raw IP address is not stored in the hosteno_web application tables.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process enquiry and calculator data to respond and take steps at your request before potentially entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We process first-party analytics without analytics cookies or advertising profiling under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our own website.

We process technical data for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website, forms and related services.

5. Recipients and processors

Access is limited to authorised controller personnel and providers necessary to operate the website: Vercel for hosting and server runtime, and Supabase for the database, server-identity authentication and Data API. The Supabase database project is hosted in the EU region (France).

We do not sell the data, use it for advertising profiling or disclose it to external marketing platforms. Providers may process technical data outside the European Economic Area only where appropriate safeguards under the GDPR are in place.

6. Retention

We retain leads and calculator data for 24 months from the last relevant interaction with the lead, unless a contractual relationship or another legal ground requires further retention.

We retain first-party analytics, UTM data and IP hashes for 13 months. Technical rate-limit and security records are retained for 30 days; information connected with a specific security incident may be retained longer for the time necessary to resolve it and protect legal rights.

After the applicable period, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the data unless further retention is required by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

7. Required information

Name, work email and property or company are required to process the enquiry. A phone number is optional. We cannot process the form without the required information.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing and data portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Send requests to info@hosteno.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, uoou.gov.cz.

9. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated individual decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for data processed through this website.

10. Effective date

This notice is effective from 26 August 2026. If the processing changes materially, we will publish an updated version on this page.
